I was into sports since I can remember. 

But even so, I wasn’t fit.

I looked okay, but nothing close 
to how other athletic girls looked like. 

In reality, I was just a chubby girl
 trying to keep her weight in check.

My efforts paid off, I was keeping fat away… but at a cost.

You see, there was something wrong with me.

At that point in time, I had no idea what, but I always felt something was not right.

In order to keep my body somewhat slim, I had to work out like crazy and eat barely nothing.

And it was like this for years and years.

My days were filled with training sessions and I was prepping my meals four days in advance to make sure I don’t go over my calorie limit.
I was into sports since I can remember. 

But even so, I wasn’t fit.

I looked okay, but nothing close

I went to the doctor to see what’s wrong with me 
 and I found out that I had some bad thyroid issues.

Apparently, whatever I did in terms of training and eating 
 was pointless because my hormones were never regulated.

I was fighting my own body without a way to win… 
 the only option was to take drugs.

This was somehow reassuring because I finally knew what the problem was, 
 but at the same time, I was really upset about having to be on medicine for the rest of my life.

Then, one day, I took a step that changed my life forever.

I was doing a vegan meal prep for a client and out of curiosity, 
 I decided to try this vegan thing, after all… I had nothing to lose.

So I took the plunge on going on a Plant-Based Vegan diet, 
 and the results were nothing short of amazing!

Do I need a gym membership?
No, the AZFit shred gives you the option to workout at home or at the gym. You will need to get a few dumbbells, a mat for the abs, resistance bands, maybe a medicine ball and stability ball if you want to get a little bit fancier. If you only have access to home workout, make sure to sign up for the HOME Subscription program. If you have access to both, use the gym based option, you can still perform most of the exercises at home, and some can be modified. I've got you covered.

Does your plan tell me what to do in every workout, sets and reps?
Yes. You'll know EXACTLY what to do in every workout to ensure you get to where you want to AND, where we know you're capable of!

How do I cancel if I no longer want my membership?

Why do I need to warm up before training?
Never ever forget to warm-up. Make sure to get your heart rate pumping and get your muscles warm or you're just asking for an injury. If you're strapped for time, cut short your workout, not your warm-up. Before each home workout, there is a video of how to do a proper warm-up, so make sure to follow it. I never skip a warm-up. And neither do my clients. After you've completed your workout, make sure you stretch. All of your muscles have been contracted from lifting and need to be stretched back out and rebuilt. 

If I want to lean down and tone up, do I need to do high reps and light weight?
WRONG! That's a myth. Research has shown that doing more than fifteen reps during a calisthenics workout causes little to no improvement in muscle power or size due to insufficient overload. It only improves muscle endurance. (The ability to contract over and over.) Being lean is a matter of having low body fat. Nothing else. Building muscle is a matter of overloading the muscles and letting them repair. Combine both, and you look extremely "toned." Light weights don't overload the muscles no matter how many reps you do. No overload = no growth.

Can I get fit without counting my macros?
In the beginning I always suggest to keep track of what you are eating just so you are conscious if you are eating enough. Nevertheless, on a plant based diet it’s easier to lose weight without counting macros because you are eliminating all processed foods and animal products. You are eating healthy sources of protein, carbs and fat.

Can I eat more food on a plant-based diet?
By eating more veggies and legumes you will definitely eat more in volume. Veggies are such a low dense calorie, you can have plenty and feel full.

Is it better for your body?
Yes, you will eat more whole food and cut down on processed foods. Cutting down on meat will help you to stay healthy and reverse some health issues. Sadly, the farmers have to give antibiotics to their animals for them to grow faster. What you eat is not only the meat, you are also absorbing those antibiotics in your body.

Where can I find protein from plants?
There is plenty in plants, such as: Tempeh, Seitan, Tofu, Black lentils, black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, quinoa, broccoli, kale, peas, just to name a few.

Will my whole family enjoy all the meals?
Every meal on my Plant Based eBook is very tasty and full of flavor. Your whole family including your children will enjoy these meals

How can I stop craving meat or animal products while switching to a plant-based diet?
There are many alternatives that have similar taste to meat. If you love burgers and red meat, Beyond Meat has burgers and other products that are extremely similar to the taste, even the color. For chicken, Seitan can be very similar, it does taste like chicken kebab. For eggs, you have to try my scrambled tofu, it taste better than regular scrambled eggs. I also have an amazing Vegan Omelet which is 100% plant based. For dairy, I use Violife for cheese, the taste is very similar. Their feta cheese is amazing. For milk, I like to use Pea milk, it taste pretty similar to milk, but it contains 50% more calcium.

Are recipes measured in cups?
All recipes are measured in cups (imperial).

Is all the food on the shopping list easy to find?
Most, if not all ingredients can be found at any grocery store.
