Trust me, it was frustrating.
I looked good, but felt terrible inside...
I kept a positive outer image, after all, I had to show everyone
including my clients, that I’m doing great and I’m killing it.
And in a way, I got used to feeling bad inside but looking good outside.
But, a few months down the line all the negative emotions piled up, and I cracked.
I went to the doctor to see what’s wrong with me
and I found out that I had some bad thyroid issues.
Apparently, whatever I did in terms of training and eating
was pointless because my hormones were never regulated.
I was fighting my own body without a way to win…
the only option was to take drugs.
This was somehow reassuring because I finally knew what the problem was,
but at the same time, I was really upset about having to be on medicine for the rest of my life.
Then, one day, I took a step that changed my life forever.
I was doing a vegan meal prep for a client and out of curiosity,
I decided to try this vegan thing, after all… I had nothing to lose.
So I took the plunge on going on a Plant-Based Vegan diet,
and the results were nothing short of amazing!
